Admissions Process

Igniting passion, curiosity, and purpose

We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about Montessori education and our school. Ours is a vibrant community of engaged families, dedicated faculty and staff, and children from birth through sixth grade. We are a new and young school. We have been serving  families in the Steubenville area since 2017 and yet we have grown and flourished because of the dedication of our families, staff and Holy Spirit.

The Montessori method is designed to support the individual needs and interests of your child in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment, with materials and lessons that ignite passion, curiosity, and purpose. Our students emerge as independent, critical thinkers and productive collaborators, prepared for whatever the future may bring, and whatever future they wish to pursue. Dr. Maria Montessori said, “A child’s work is to create the person she/he will become.” We are honored and proud to help each student who passes through our doors to do just that.

We warmly invite you to explore our website, join us for a parent information session, tour our beautiful campus, observe in our classrooms, and call us with questions. We encourage you to see for yourself all that a Mary Seat of Wisdom Montessori education has to offer.

We look forward to meeting you and your child!

I. Inquire & Tour

Reach out to express your interest in our school, and ask any initial questions. If you have never visited campus, schedule a tour with our program director after school hours to learn more.

II. Apply

If you liked what you saw on your tour, then fill out an application form (which we will provide for you). We will go through prospective families' applications, and you will hear from us once the current family re-enrollment period is through.

III. Admissions Visit

After applying, schedule an official admissions visit. Meet at the school with your child's prospective guide to learn about the guide's philosophy, discuss your child, and share your hopes for their experience. Bring your child along so they can meet the guide and explore the classroom terrain.

IV. Enroll

If we accept your application, you are all set to register! Pay the $150 registration fee, sign a tuition agreement, and fill out the registration forms we send to you. We will give you everything you need to start the school year strong.
